Test Methods For Textile Dyeing And Finishing Auxiliaries

Feb 19, 2026

The determination of solids content in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries is conducted according to the industry standard HG/T 4266-2011, "Determination of Solids Content in Textile Dyeing and Finishing Auxiliaries," which specifies the methods for determining the solids content of various textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries.

For the determination of hazardous substances, a series of national standards, GB/T 29493, "Determination of Hazardous Substances in Textile Dyeing and Finishing Auxiliaries," has been established, specifying specific instrumental analysis methods for different hazardous substances.

For example, Part 1 specifies the method for determining polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and the method for determining flame retardants such as TEPA and TCEP using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Part 4 specifies the method for determining 24 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Part 6 specifies the method for determining the isocyanate group content in polyurethane prepolymers. Part 9 specifies the determination method for acrylamides.
